Who we are
Ziva Consulting is a values-led service provider working across health, strategy, and innovation. We support people and organisations—particularly in remote, rural, and under-resourced areas—to build stronger systems, clearer pathways, and more sustainable ways of working. In a realistic and tailored way.
Founded by Zoe Richardson, Ziva grew from a desire to bridge the gap between big ideas and real-world outcomes. With a background in public health, business, and on-the-ground consulting, Zoe has supported everything from grassroots wellbeing workshops to strategic enterprise development in some of Australia’s most remote regions.
Today, Ziva brings together trusted collaborators across health, facilitation, tech, and design to deliver work that’s thoughtful, ethical, and impactful.

Tourism Social Enterprise & Community-Led Development
Ziva Consulting led the full project management and strategic development of Malbak Aboriginal Corporation and its tourism enterprise, Anwarrbarr Tours, over a 12-month period. The work focused on transforming a strong community vision into an operational First Nations-led business in one of the most remote parts of the Northern Territory.
Key achievements included:
Securing grant funding streams to activate business development and community priorities
Establishing regular board meetings, governance systems, and staff training
Providing opportunities for legal and governance education for staff and directors
Coordinating industry exposure, including tourism conferences and event participation
Creating employment pathways for local First Nations community members
Supporting the development of foundational tourism strategies, branding, and marketing
Facilitating partnerships across tourism, health, and enterprise sectors
As part of Ziva’s commitment to holistic development, we also initiated and coordinated a Wet Season Food Security Pilot—a partnership between Malbak and OzHarvest that delivered monthly fresh produce to the community via charter flights. This program addressed seasonal food scarcity and was a direct response to local needs, co-designed and implemented with care.
Ziva’s role blended hands-on coordination, strategic support, and long-term capacity building to support community-led success in both tourism and health outcomes.

Volunteer Program Supporting Youth Employment Pathways
Ziva Consulting contributed to the inspiring work of Stella’s Child, a social enterprise supporting young adults from remote Indonesian islands to gain internships, skills, and industry training through partnerships with major hospitality and tourism businesses in Bali.
The program is designed to enhance income opportunities and long-term economic outcomes by equipping young people with the tools to succeed in high-demand roles—while staying connected to their communities and aspirations.
As part of this initiative, Zoe Richardson (Founder of Ziva Consulting) delivered a series of volunteer nutrition, wellness, and yoga workshops for youth preparing to enter the workforce. These sessions were culturally tailored and included:
Nutrition education for energy, focus, and strength
Mind-body awareness and resilience through movement and breath
Everyday wellbeing practices for life in high-performance environments
Group sessions that honoured local food, culture, and lifestyle
The workshops were designed to support young adults not only in getting the job, but in staying well while building a future.
